Why Grounded in Science?
In 2013, Jim Prior and Brett Rooney saw an opportunity in the screw pile market. Both worked in the building and construction industry for many years and had seen first-hand the poor quality and service being delivered by current screw pile suppliers.
They knew if they could design and manufacture a high-quality screw pile (here in Australia, using Australian made steel) AND provide builders with a safe and compliant installation process, they could make a difference!
The pair formed Katana Foundations and focused on growing the business one customer at a time.
